Biography
Originally from Skegness in Lincolnshire, Katey first studied Art & Design at Lincoln De Montfort University. After earning herself a BA(Hons) Degree in Three Dimensional Design at Manchester Metropolitan University she moved on to gain an MA in Silversmithing from the University of Central England in Birmingham. On finishing her studies Katey moved to Sheffield where she is now working from the award winning Persistence Works building, the UK’s largest purpose built studio complex. Here she completed a two year Silversmithing Starter Studio Programme and now runs her own successful silversmithing business.
